Small groups used to feel like one more thing to plan for.
If I’m being honest, they still do sometimes.
You teach 4th grade, for example, but during small group time you have to put on your kindergarten teacher hat to fill some phonemic awareness and phonics gaps for one group, then you're a 2nd grade teacher working on fluency with the next group, then you're a 6th grade teacher running a novel study with the next group...
If this sounds like too much, it's because it kind of IS.
And there's never a curriculum that covers all of our bases. It's always on us to plan these lessons from scratch.
So, I started using a formula to help me plan my small group lessons faster than ever.
What is that formula?
Listen in to find out!
